Devi Ahityabai, the great ruler of Holkar dynasty, had brought it from Gujarat and traded it in Maheshwari 250 years ago.
5. Narayanpet Silk Saree
This saree is very beautiful and adds to the beauty of women. This saree has checked surface patterns with embroidery which together create a very special design on the border or pallu, like the outline of a temple. These sarees got their name because they originated from the Narayanpet district of Telangana in 1630 BC.
