Several leaders, including Assembly Deputy Speaker and Nationalist Congress Party leader Narhari Jhirwal, jumped from the third floor of the ministry. The matter of relief is that he got caught in the safety net installed in the building. This saved his life. When this incident occurred, the state cabinet meeting was going on in the ministry.
According to the information, elected representatives of the tribal community protested at the state government headquarters ministry on Friday. He wanted to meet Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and present his demands. However, when they could not meet, he took this step. After the incident, the police reached the spot and took them out safely. Let us tell you, these MLAs were against removing the ban on recruitment of tribal youth under the PESA Act and giving Dhangar reservation from the Scheduled Tribe (ST) quota. Apart from Assembly Deputy Speaker Narhari Jirwal, Bahujan Vikas Aghadi MLA Rajesh Patil and BJP MP Hemant Savara also participated in this protest. All of them come from tribal community.
