OnePlus 13R could ship with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC; Here’s what we know so far
OnePlus 13R has made its first appearance on benchmarking website Geekbench. In a report published by MySmartPrice, the listing has been mentioned where we can see the device carrying model number OnePlus CPH2465. Until now, OnePlus has not made any official announcement regarding the launch of the smartphone.
However, by the listing, we can say that the device will have watered-down specs as compared to the OnePlus 13 like every ‘R’ variant from the previous series. For your information, OnePlus 13 made a debut in the Chinese market with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. Expectations are that the device will soon make a debut in the global market with the same specs as well.
OnePlus 13R Geekbench listing details
OnePlus 13R scored around 2238 in the single-core tests and 6761 in the multi-core tests on Geekbench. It has been revealed that the smartphone will run on the Android 15 operating system. The codename of the motherboard or the processor mentioned in the listing is pineapple. The code is used for Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
With this, we can say that the device is going to deliver much better performance than its predecessor which runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Apart from that, the device may carry a minimum of 12GB RAM. It will be based on the Android 15 operating system with OxygenOS 15 skin on top.
Until now, only a limited amount of information is available via leaks regarding the OnePlus 13. We can expect to know more about the same once OnePlus makes it official or starts teasing the device to take the ‘R’ variant legacy forward. Till then, the readers are suggested to take all the information with a truckload of salt as last-moment changes can be seen at the time of the official announcement.
