Munir Akram said that these attacks have become more deadly due to the acquisition and use of advanced military equipment by TTP terrorists. He urged the United Nations to thoroughly investigate how the TTP acquired advanced military equipment left by foreign forces in Afghanistan.
Munir Akram said, “We have lost hundreds of our brave soldiers and civilians in these attacks this year alone and last week a TTP affiliated group launched a heinous attack on our security personnel in Dera Ismail Khan, killing more than 23 soldiers.” Had died.
On December 12, terrorists belonging to TTP hit a security forces post with an explosive-laden vehicle in Dera Ismail Khan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. 23 soldiers were killed in this attack.
American soldiers had left weapons in Afghanistan
According to news agency PTI, Akram was referring to the American weapons that were left in Afghanistan by the US Army after the withdrawal of American troops was completed in August 2021.
