Maulana said, “the invisible forces taking decisions from behind the scenes are responsible for the plight of the country, who have turned the elected representatives of the people into puppets. These forces control us from behind the walls. The members of Parliament have abandoned principles and are busy selling democracy. We are going bankrupt, who is responsible for this?”

Addressing the National Assembly
