These security flaws especially affect products running older versions of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, Vision OS and Safari, due to which users can become victims of cyber attacks. CERT-In is asking to update the latest software to reduce these cyber attacks. According to the advisory, certain vulnerabilities in the product could allow attackers to execute arbitrary code or conduct cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks on affected products.

The body has specifically informed about the affected versions. This includes Apple iOS and iPadOS versions before 18.1.1 and 17.7.2, macOS versions before 15.1.1, Vision OS versions before 2.1.1, and Safari versions before 18.1.1. . Users running devices running any of these software versions are advised to update to the latest available operating system.

If your product is older and no longer receiving software updates, CERT-In recommends switching to a product running the latest software. This is the best way to ensure continuous security and protect against cyber threats.
