PM modi ghana visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Ghana on a two -day visit. During his visit, PM Modi will hold meetings with the top leadership of the West African country and review the strong bilateral partnership. Modi, who visited Ghana’s visit to Ghana on the invitation of President John Dhani Mahama, inspected the salute guard when he arrived here. This is Prime Minister Modi’s first bilateral visit to Ghana. It is also the first Ghana visit of a Prime Minister of India in three decades.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was warmly welcomed by members of the Indian community in Akra. PM Modi arrived at the hotel where he will stay during his two -day visit to Ghana.
Ghana is important partner in ‘Global South’
PM Modi had earlier said in his statement that Ghana is an important partner in ‘Global South’ and plays an important role in the African Union and the Economic Community of West African countries. He said that he is eager to further intensify the historical relations between the two countries and open new doors of cooperation in the fields of investment, energy, health, security and development partnerships.

PM Modi said, “We are both democratic countries. In such a situation, it would be a matter of honor for me to address Ghana in Parliament. ”Modi from Ghana will go on a two -day visit to Trinidad and Tobago from July 3 to 4. In the third phase of his visit, Modi will visit Argentina from July 4 to 5. In the fourth phase of his visit, Modi will go to Brazil to attend the 17th BRICS summit. He will go to Namibia in the last phase of his journey.
