PM Modi to inaugurate GPAI summit this evening
New Delhi, 12 December (Hindustan Reporter). Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the three-day Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) summit at 5 pm today (Tuesday) at the Bharat Mandapam in the national capital. GPAI is a multi-stakeholder initiative with 29 member countries. A brief pictorial description of the Prime Minister's program has been shared by the Bharatiya Janata Party on its official X handle.
The Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice by supporting cutting-edge research and practical activities on Artificial Intelligence (AI) related priorities. India, one of the founding members of GPAI in 2020, is the President of GPAI until 2024.
More than 50 GPAI experts and 150 speakers from across the country will participate in the summit. Additionally, top AI gamechangers from across the globe including Intel, Reliance Jio, Google, Meta, AWS, Yota, NetWeb, Paytm, Microsoft, Mastercard, NIC, STPI, Immerse, Jio Haptic, Bhashini etc. will be a part of various events.
