He warned that without the supply being restored, potato prices could continue to rise.
Issue in the potato supply from West Bengal?
The All Odisha Traders Association’s secretary, Sudhakar Panda, has requested the Odisha government to step in and negotiate with West Bengal to permit the entry of potato trucks into the state. Food Supply and Consumer Welfare Minister Krishnachandra Patra reported an issue in the potato supply from West Bengal when questioned about it. He stated that they will source potatoes from either Punjab or Uttar Pradesh to guarantee a seamless experience for consumers.
