For patients undergoing GI and bariatric procedures, these benefits are particularly meaningful, as many face additional health challenges linked to obesity or other metabolic conditions. In GI surgeries, robotic systems prove invaluable when operating in areas that are challenging to access, such as the esophagus and stomach. The advanced 3D visualization provided by robotic systems offers enhanced depth perception and clarity, which is critical for surgeries that require delicate maneuvering around vital structures,” said Dr Kapur.
