Raj Kundra’s statement after ED raid, said- ‘Don’t drag my wife’s name’
Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra is once again in trouble. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday raided his house and office in a case related to the pornography network. After this action, Raj Kundra broke his silence and expressed his displeasure over his wife Shilpa Shetty being repeatedly dragged into this matter. Let us know what he said on this issue.
Raj Kundra spoke in favor of his wife
Raj Kundra defended his wife while reacting to Shilpa Shetty’s name being dragged in the money laundering case. He said that his wife has nothing to do with this matter. In the story shared on his Instagram, he wrote, “The media is fond of drama. It is necessary to bring out the truth. I have been fully cooperating in the investigation for the last four years. The allegations of ‘collaborators’, ‘pornography’ and ‘money laundering’ are mere sensationalism, and cannot hide the truth. In the end justice will prevail.” He further appealed, “Stop taking my wife’s name again and again. Please respect the boundaries.”
Shilpa Shetty’s lawyer’s statement
Shilpa Shetty’s lawyer Prashant Patil gave clarification on this matter. He said, “It is being claimed in some media reports that ED has raided Shilpa Shetty’s house. This is completely false and misleading. Shilpa Shetty has no connection with this case.” He appealed to the media to avoid using Shilpa Shetty’s name, photo and video as she has no connection with this case.
What is the whole matter?
Raj Kundra was arrested in June 2021 for allegedly making obscene films. Mumbai Police claimed that Kundra was the main conspirator in this case. After being in jail for two months, he is out on bail since September 2021.
