Rajasthan’s first film Omlo made history, will premiere at Cannes Film Festival

The emotional and lovely film ‘Omlo’ is going to premiere on 13 May 2025 in the film market to be held at Cannes Film Festival. The film will be released at the film festival around the world for the next one year. The story of writer, producer and director Sonu Randeep Chaudhary’s film Omlo is based on 7 -year -old child Omlo and a lifestyle of a camel.

The social drama film produced under the banner of Hare Krishna Pictures is Rohit Makhija, Manish Gopalani, Neha Pandey, Sonu Randeep Chaudhary while co -producers are Ajay Rathore, Arvind Dagur, Yatin Rathore. Shambhu Mahajan has played the lead role of Omlo. Sonu Randeep Chaudhary has played the role of Subhash, Sonali Sharmistha plays Savitri, Deva Sharma has played Ramu’s character, Mahesh Jillova has played the role of Magnaram.

The story of the film deeply sheds light on how a person is drunk by forgetting his responsibilities, which makes his entire family feel scared like animals. Omlo, shows the fear and upheaval filled with his father in childhood, finds himself entangled in the same generation and pain in the same generation.

The story sheds light on the constant cycle of fear and pain from one generation to another, which women often suffer. Omlo’s grandmother hoped that her son would bring a peaceful life for her. However, he proves to be worse than his father, which continues the cycle of sorrow which now affects his daughter -in -law and grandson. Nevertheless, amidst disappointment, a ray of hope exists because Omlo’s mother wants her son to break this cycle and become a better person. The story raises the question about whether a change is really possible?

The film’s story, screenplay and dialogue, filmed in Shri Dungargarh, Bikaner, Rajasthan, have been written by Sonu Randeep Chaudhary. Musicians are Ghazi Khan Barna, Bhuvan Ahuja, Background Music Devendra Bhoomi and lyricist Sonu Randeep Chaudhary.

The film’s director Sonu Randeep Chaudhary says, where people, culture, place have left an indelible mark on my film making style and the way of storytelling. The essence of my inspiration is that while global issues like politics and world peace are often given significant attention, the struggle at the domestic level is often ignored.

‘Omlo’ Sonu Randeep Chaudhary is the first film as a director and writer, but he has been interested in painting the stories since childhood. He spent his time in the theater for more than 15 years, during which he enhanced his art. Sonu Randeep Chaudhary, a native of a small town in Rajasthan, always considered Mumbai to be his destination. Recognizing his passion at an early age, he dedicated himself to mastered this art.
