Outgoing MP from Uttar Pradesh capital Lucknow and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh filed his nomination papers on Monday. Singh is contesting for the third time from Lucknow Lok Sabha constituency. Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee had also reached the Lok Sabha from this seat. According to the affidavit given at the time of nomination, Rajnath is an active user of social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, X and YouTube and also has a website. According to the affidavit, Singh has Rs 75,000 in cash and his wife has Rs 45,000 in cash. The total value of movable assets of Rajnath Singh and his wife is more than Rs 4.02 crore.
According to the affidavit, the Union Minister does not own any car, but he has a revolver (purchase price Rs 10,000) and a double-barrelled gun (purchase price Rs 10,000). According to this, there is no criminal case pending against him.

It said that Rajnath Singh has movable assets worth more than Rs 3.11 crore and his wife has movable assets worth Rs 90.71 lakh, besides 750 grams of gold worth Rs 52.50 lakh and 12.50 kg silver worth more than Rs 9.37 lakh.
According to this, Singh owns agricultural land worth Rs 1.47 crore in five villages of Chandauli district, immovable property in the form of a house worth Rs 1.87 crore in Gomtinagar area of Lucknow and his wife does not have any immovable property.
