Ramayana Teaser Out: Lord Ram became Ranbir Kapoor, will be stunned by the first glimpse of Ravana
The first glimpse of Nitesh Tiwari’s most awaited film ‘Ramayana’ has finally come out. The makers have released the powerful teaser of the film. Along with this, the official curtain has also been lifted from the film’s starcast. It has also been told that the film name is not ‘Ramayana’ but ‘Ramayanam’.
The first glimpse of this tremendous universe came out with the global launch of ‘Ramayana: The Introduction’. In this, the immortal battle of the two biggest mythological characters Ram vs Ravana is being revived. This launch has been really made global, where it has done fan screening in nine big cities of India, while a tremendous billboard takeover has created an atmosphere at Times Square, New York.
The teaser begins with the music of AR Rahman, which will make your ragate stand. It is told with this that this story is of the era when there was no name-o-nishan of time. The balance of the universe was in the hands of three powers Brahma (who create), Vishnu (who handle) and Shiva (who finish). Because of these three, the gods, sages, humans and demons used to live peacefully.
But the ashes of this balance arises a strength as never seen before. A demon child is born, which no one expects and he becomes Ravan. The most scary and invincible king, whose roar trembles. His purpose is clear, ending the Vishnu who always stood against his caste.
Vishnu himself comes to earth to stop this demon, but in his weakest form i.e. as a human prince, named Rama. It is from here that Ram vs Ravan, Human vs. Amar, Ujala vs the battle of darkness that never ends. This is Ramayana, a story that shows the fight of the universe, the strength of luck and the victory of goodness. A saga that still gives direction to the minds and thinking of crores of people.
The film will have a tremendous starcast
The teaser also reveals the film’s starcast. In the film, Ranbir Kapoor in the role of Lord Ram, Yash in the role of Ravana, Sai Pallavi in the role of Mata Sita, Ravi Dubey in the role of Laxman and Sunny Deol in Hanuman are going to be seen.
Another tremendous team is associated with this strong cast. The first two music legends Hans Zimmer and AR, who won the Oscars for the first time. Rahman is composing the music of this film together. Hollywood’s top stunt directors Terry Notary and Cow Noris are choreographed by the film’s great war.

The Ramayana, a specially designed for the world’s most emergency formats such as IMAX, is a cinematic journey that leads the audience to the heart of one of the oldest and powerful stories in human history. Namit Malhotra’s Ramayana is being introduced as a live-action cinematic universe made in a couple of parts, the scale of the largest Hollywood tentpols ever.
The Ramayana being directed by Nitesh Tiwari is produced by Namit Malhotra’s prime focus studios and 8 times the VFX studio DNEG, as well as the support of Yash’s Monster Mind Creations. The film is being shot especially for a large format like IMAX. The first part of Ramayana will be released worldwide in Diwali 2026 and second part Diwali 2027.
