Nagpur: With the onset of Sharad Navratri setting the stage for Dusshera festivities, the Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh’s women’s wing – Rashtra Sevika Samiti on Friday celebrate the Vijaya Dashmi Utsav in Mahrashtra’s Nagpur.
The Vijayadashami Festival, celebrated by the Rashtriya Sevika Samiti, is a significant cultural event that marks the triumph of good over evil. This year’s celebration featured renowned classical dancer Padma Vibhushan Sonal Mansingh as the chief guest. With her renowned expertise in classical dance, Mansingh is expected to enhance the cultural vibrancy of the event, inspiring attendees through her artistry and performance, the outfit said.
The festival also included a keynote address from V. Shanta Kumari ji, the chief coordinator of the Rashtriya Sevika Samiti, who will share her insights and vision, emphasizing the importance of community and service.
