Prayagraj. The demand for formation of ‘Sanatan Board’ has intensified before Mahakumbh in the district. A big meeting of sages and saints is going to be held regarding this. Meanwhile, Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad President Mahant Ravindra Puri has said that the proposal for formation of ‘Sanatan Board’ will be approved in a meeting of prominent saints and sages in Mahakumbh and it will be submitted to the Central Government.
He announced that a Dharma Sansad will be organized during the Prayagraj Mahakumbh on January 26. In this, prominent saints and sages from across the country, including Shankaracharyas of all four Peethas and heads of 13 Akharas, will gather at the Sangam. Under his leadership, the proposal for formation of ‘Sanatan Board’ will be approved and then sent to the Central Government.
The President of the Akhara Parishad further said – Our aim is to establish a well-organized, government recognized board which will uphold the principles of Sanatan Dharma without any flaw.

Akhara Parishad starts preparations for Mahakumbh many years in advance. For this year’s Mahakumbh, planning had begun three years in advance, including mobilizing the necessary resources to provide prasad for devotees coming from India and abroad.
He said arrangements have been made to serve prasad to 5,000 devotees at one time. Mahakumbh 2025 will be organized in Prayagraj from 13 January to 26 February.
