Renault Kiger, Triber, Kwid get year-end discounts of up to Rs 65,000
Renault India has mandated its dealer network to boost sales by offering attractive year-end discounts. These benefits include cash discount, loyalty bonus, corporate discount and exchange bonus. Additionally, Renault is offering additional exchange benefits to customers who choose to avail their vehicle scrappage scheme. The RELi.VE plan handles all legal certifications and also allows the customer to support eco-friendly scrappage and dismantling drives.
Renault Kiger: Discount up to Rs 65,000
Renault's Kiger is known for its pricing as a compact SUV. This sub-four-metre vehicle comes with a choice of two 1.0-litre engines – a naturally aspirated petrol that produces 72hp and 96Nm and a turbo-petrol that produces 100hp and 160Nm of torque. Both engines are mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard, but an AMT option is offered for the naturally aspirated petrol and a CVT option for the turbo-petrol.
During this month, Renault is offering benefits worth up to Rs 65,000 on the Kiger, which includes up to Rs 20,000 cash discount on the RXZ variant and up to Rs 25,000 cash discount on the RXT and RXT (O) variants. There are also special customer loyalty bonuses of up to Rs 20,000 and special corporate benefits of up to Rs 12,000 for an approved list of corporate customers and PSUs. It competes with Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon and Maruti Suzuki Brezza and is priced at Rs 6.5 lakh.
Renault Triber: Discount up to Rs 50,000
The compact seven-seat Triber is in a class of its own, and is getting benefits of up to Rs 50,000 this December. Benefits include cash discount up to Rs 20,000, exchange benefit up to Rs 20,000 and additional discount of Rs 10,000 as loyalty customer benefit. Additionally, there is also a corporate discount of up to Rs 12,000.

It has a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine, which has an output of 72hp and 96Nm torque. This engine is mated to either a 5-speed manual or AMT; The latter makes commuting in the city easier. While the Triber has no direct competitors, it competes with cars like the Maruti Suzuki Swift and the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios due to its similar price tag – the range starts at Rs 6.34 lakh.
Renault Kwid: Discount up to Rs 50,000
The Kwid, which has a relatively longer shelf life compared to its rivals, is getting a discount of up to Rs 50,000 this month. It has been a part of the Renault line-up since 2015 and has been updated from time to time, more or less maintaining its position in the market. It is powered by a 1.0-litre petrol engine that produces 68hp and 91Nm of torque, which comes mated to a 5-speed manual or AMT.
The break-up of benefits available is similar to Triber. Additionally, there is a corporate benefit of up to Rs 12,000 for Renault's approved corporate and PSU list. It competes with Maruti Suzuki Celerio and Tata Punch and is priced at Rs 4.7 lakh.
