Kannada actress Shobhitha Shivanna was reportedly found dead and hanging from a fan in her Hyderabad apartment in Gachibowli’s Sri Ram Nagar Colony on November 30, 2024. The actress’ decased body has been sent to Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem. Know details here.

New Delhi: Kannada actress Shobhitha Shivanna, was reportedly found dead in her Hyderabad apartment. As per reports, Shobhitha took her life on November 30, 2024. She was reportedly found hanging from a fan at her residence in Gachibowli’s Sri Ram Nagar Colony, C-Block. There has been no confirmation on the cause of death as the actress’ deceased body has been moved to Hyderabad’s Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem.

Hailing from Karnataka, Shobhitha was married to her husband Sudheer last year. The actress has been living in Hyderabad for the past two years. Although she distanced herself from the Kannada industry for unknown reasons, she began exploring roles in Telugu cinema after moving to Hyderabad. It is said that her body will most likely be sent to Bengaluru for her last rites. Shobhitha Shivanna’s death has left fans and the industry in utter shock.

After moving from Karnataka’s Hassan district to Bengaluru, Shobhitha Shivanna began her career as an anchor before transitioning into action. She was a well-known face in the Kannada entertainment industry with popular roles in television serials such as Gaalipata, Mangala Gowri, Kogile, Krishna Rukmini, Manedevru, and Deepavu Ninnade Galiyu Ninnade. In addition to TV serials, Shobhitha Shivanna also worked in notable films like ATM: Attempt to Murder, Jackpot, Vandana, and Eradondla Mooru.

Shobhitha was quite active on her social media and often shared key moments of her life with her followers. Shobhitha Shivanna’s last post on Instagram was on November 1, 2024, penning a heartfelt note celebrating Diwali and urging her fans to support her latest movie, 1st Day 1st Show.

The Hyderabad police are currently investigating the reports surrounding Shobhitha’s alleged suicide, but no official statement has been released yet.
