Sirsa: Police raid on hotel and Dharamshala, stay of outsider prohibited
In view of the assembly elections in Raniyan and Dabwali area of Sirsa district of Haryana, as per the guidelines of Superintendent of Police Deepti Garg, all the DSPs and police station and post in-charges of Dabwali police district have been asked to check hotels, restaurants, dharamshalas and liquor vends in their areas. Important guidelines were given in this regard. Under which Dabwali police did checking at the said places.
Police spokesperson said that the Superintendent of Police gave important instructions to the police officers regarding the elections. Due to which, the hotels, restaurants, Dharamshala and liquor vends of their area were checked by the DSP and outpost, police station in-charge. In which liquor vends were found closed and hotel and restaurant operators were directed regarding the elections.
Hotel and Dharamshala operators were directed to thoroughly check the IDs of people staying in hotels and Dharamshala and no person from outside the assembly constituency should stay in the hotel/Dharamshala. In view of the elections, liquor vends will remain closed and if any person is found selling liquor illegally, strictest legal action will be taken against him.
