Students at Jaipur India International School came face to face with the world of print and media.
Jaipur News Desk, With the aim of introducing students to the world of print and media, a two-day editor's conference was organized at India International School, Sitapura. The inauguration ceremony of the conference was attended by leading newspapers and other media personnel of the city. Many teams from different schools participated in the editor's conference organized in collaboration with the Department of Mass Communication of IIS University. The first session was Introduction to Journalism which was conducted by State Editor Mukesh Mathur. He discussed various aspects of newspaper printing. The second session was on radio journalism. The participants visited the FM radio studio and toured the production studio at ICG. The studio staff explained to the students the intricacies of editing. Dr. Anju Jaideep, Principal, IIS, welcomed the resource persons and the participating schools. He added the importance of mass media as a new age career opportunity for students. He said that the school will offer Mass Media as a subject in Higher Secondary from the upcoming session.
