Tata Safari and Harrier get new color options with Level 2 ADAS
Tata Safari and Harrier receive updates in the form of new color options and more features added in ADAS technology
Tata Safari and Harrier have received updates in the form of new colors and more features added in ADAS technology. Both SUVs feature Lane Centering Assist and Lane Keep Assist and the new ADAS suite will be sold in select trim levels such as Adventure+ A, Fearless+ and Accomplished+. It should be noted that existing owners will get these features at no extra cost.
The domestic manufacturer has not introduced any cosmetic updates in the Harrier and Safari. As far as the Harrier is concerned, the Ash Gray color is now also available in the Adventure and Fearless variants, while Seaweed Green has also been made available in the Fearless grade. The Smart and Pure low-level trims can now be purchased with Pebble Gray and Coral Red colours.
Tata has made Lunar White finish available across the range while Sunlight Yellow is limited to the top-end Fearless trim. As far as Safari is concerned, Supernova Copper can also be purchased in accomplished variant. Stardust Ash and Galactic Sapphire in Smart and Pure trims; Other paint options in the Lunar Slate three-row model are the Adventure and Accomplished trims.
The Lunar White finish is available on all four Harrier trims, while Sunlit Yellow is only on offer with the top-spec Fearless. It should also be noted that the Harrier Dark Edition, with its distinctive Oberon Black finish, is available with three higher trims.
The Smart, Pure, Accomplished and Fearless trims of Tata Safari are now offered in Stellar Frost colour, while Cosmic Gold is limited to the higher models. Without any performance changes, both the Harrier and Safari are powered by a Fiat-sourced 2.0L four-cylinder turbo diesel engine, which is good enough to deliver a maximum power output of 170 PS.
Also, it is capable of delivering peak torque of 350 Nm. The powertrain is paired with a six-speed manual transmission as standard while a six-speed torque converter automatic unit is an option. Tata Motors will also launch Harrier EV next year.
