Deoria: A shocking incident has come to light in a government school in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, where a liquor and non-veg party was held on school premises. A video that has gone viral on social media shows teachers and the Nagar Panchayat President indulging in the party.
According to the locals, the school has become a regular hangout spot for the teacher and the Nagar Panchayat President, with liquor and non-veg parties being held every night. The incident has sparked outrage among parents, who are demanding action against those responsible.

The video, which was reportedly recorded at night, shows the Nagar Panchayat President Virendra Yadav and many other teachers enjoying liquor and non-veg food in the school’s headmaster’s room. The kitchen, where mid-day meals are prepared for students, was also used to cook non-veg food.
Probe ordered
The school’s Head Master Bina Singh said that the school was closed at the time of the party and that she did not have the keys to the school. However, she acknowledged that the Nagar Panchayat President had the keys, as he was working in the school. The Chief Development Officer (CDO) Pratyush Pandey has taken cognisance of the incident and has appointed an investigation team to look into the matter. “Action will be taken after finding out the details,” he said
