Team India wins first Adelaide Test, defeats Prime Minister 11 by 6 wickets

New Delhi : India achieved a spectacular victory on Sunday in the warm-up match played in Canberra. Team India defeated Prime Minister XI by 6 wickets. Shubman Gill scored a half-century for India, while Washington Sundar played an explosive inning of 42 runs. In bowling, Harshit Rana performed brilliantly and took 4 wickets, while Akash Deep took 2 wickets. This win was a great start for India before the second Test.

Harshit Rana took 4 wickets

Batting first, Prime Minister’s XI scored 240 runs. Sam Konstas scored a brilliant century, scoring 107 runs in 97 balls. Jack Clayton played an inning of 40 runs, while captain Edwards was out for only 1 run. Harshit Rana was brilliant in India’s bowling, he took 4 wickets for 44 runs in 6 overs. Akash Deep took 2 wickets for 58 runs in 10 overs. Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna, Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar took 1 wicket each.

Shubman Gill scored a half century

India achieved the target given by Prime Minister’s XI by losing 5 wickets. Shubman Gill scored 50 runs, which included 7 fours. Yashasvi Jaiswal played an important inning of 45 runs. KL Rahul scored 27 runs, and Washington Sundar remained unbeaten on 42 runs. Nitish Reddy also played an important inning of 42 runs. Earlier, India had defeated Australia by 295 runs in the first match of the Test series. Now the second match of the Test series between India and Australia will be played in Adelaide from 6th December. A total of 5 matches will be played in the Test series, and the last match will be held on January 3.
