Pakistan Terrorist Attack
Quetta: Terrorists in Pakistan have carried out a major attack. The terrorist attack took place in the turbulent southwest Pakistan. Many terrorists armed with guns and rockets first attacked a police station and then set fire to 2 banks. One boy has been killed and 9 other people were injured in a terrorist attack.
Terrorists fired indiscriminately
Police officials have given information about the terrorist attack. A government official Jan Mohammad said that during the attacks in Mastung district of Balochistan province, the attackers fired indiscriminately on the common citizens, killing a boy. Mohammed said that some terrorists have also been killed in an encounter with security forces.
Nobody took responsibility for the attack
Provincial government spokesperson Shahid Rind said a security campaign has been started to search for the attackers. No group has taken responsibility for the attack yet, but the banned Baloch Liberation Army or BLA is suspected. Rind said that the Baloch Liberation Army often attacks common citizens, including security forces, in other areas including Balochistan.
Balochistan wants independence from Pakistan
The US declared BLA a terrorist organization in 2019. Balochistan has long been the center of violence of separatist groups, demanding independence from Pakistan. The province is also considered a stronghold of terrorists associated with the Pakistani Taliban and the Islamic State Group.
