Jodhpur. In Gajendra Nagar, the capital of Jodhpur, a young man was cheated of Rs 3 lakh by a robber bride. The victim youth himself has filed a case against his newly-wed bride, in which the police has started further investigation. The truth of which was revealed on the wedding night. When the groom came to know the truth, the ground beneath his feet slipped.

Actually, the robber bride Supriya alias Rohini, resident of Maharashtra, extorted Rs 3 lakh from the victim in exchange of fake marriage. Later, when the marriage came near, the marriage was postponed on the pretext of mother’s illness. Investigation revealed that the robber bride was already married and had a child. Police have registered a case against many people including Supriya alias Rohini, Babulal, Salim Khan, Neha, Santosh and started investigation.

The bride kept refusing the groom for the wedding night

According to the police, the victim youth was deliberately trapped after making a complete plan. First, her fake marriage was organized in a temple in Udaipur. Later, Supriya alias Rohini was called back to Akola Maharashtra after a few days on the pretext of her mother’s illness. The bride kept refusing her groom for the wedding night and went back to her village after two days. After that she did not return. It was only then that the groom investigated and the whole matter came out in the open. The bride has threatened the groom that if he harasses her too much or puts pressure on her to come, the bride will implicate the groom in human trafficking.
