Gadiya Ghat wali Mata Ji Temple—
Let us tell you that this miraculous temple of the Goddess is located near Gadiya village, about 15 km from Nalkheda village of Agar Malwa, on the banks of Kalisindh river in Shajapur district of Madhya Pradesh. This temple is known as Gadiyaghat Wali Mata Ji. It is believed that a Mahajyoti has been burning in this temple for years. This lamp, which is lit in front of the Mother Goddess, is burning without any oil, ghee or fuel. The surprising thing is that this miraculous lamp burns with the water of Kalisindh river flowing near the temple. It is said that when water is poured into the lamp kept in this temple, it turns into sticky oil and the lamp also gets burnt.
According to experts, earlier the light of this temple was lit with oil and ghee like other temples. But once the Mother appeared to the priest in a dream and ordered him to light the lamp with the flowing water of the river. After which the priest did the same and one day filled the river water in the lamp and lit the wick and the flame started burning. It is said that by visiting and worshiping in this temple, Mother Goddess fulfills all the wishes of the devotees. During Navratri days, a huge crowd of devotees is also seen here.
