Unbalanced car hits two wheeler, two girls die
Ahmedabad. An unbalanced car driver hit a two-wheeler on Naroda Dahegam Road in the city late on Sunday night. 2 people died in the accident. According to preliminary information, the driver was drunk, due to which the car collided with the divider and hit a two-wheeler coming from the other side. CCTV of the accident has also surfaced. The local people caught the car driver, beat him severely and handed him over to the police. The names of the deceased youth have been stated as Amit Rathod (26) and Vishal Rathod (27).
Two youths were traveling on a two-wheeler on Dahegam Naroda Highway. Meanwhile, a white colored car jumped in the air after hitting the divider and directly hit the two-wheeler riders. Both the youths sitting on the two-wheeler jumped in the air and fell on the ground and died on the spot. After the incident, people nearby took the driver Gopal Patel out of the car and beat him severely. The car driver was seen staggering drunk.
Ahmedabad Rural DSP Om Prakash Jat said that the car driver had left Jhak village in an intoxicated state. While going towards Naroda, the car driver overtook the rickshaw on the way. During this, the car climbed the divider, jumped in the air and hit the two-wheeler rider coming from the front. Both the youths riding on a two-wheeler jumped in the air and fell on the road and both died on the spot. Kanbha police station has registered an FIR and arrested the car driver.
