Odisha FC continued their sublime run of form in the Indian Super League (ISL) with a statement 4-2 victory over an in-form Bengaluru FC. The Juggernauts ran riot against the Blues and took them to the floor with a five-star performance.
Jerry Mawihmingthanga opened the scoring and put the ball past Gurpreet Singh Sandhu in his 100th appearance to put his side in the lead in the 10th minute before Mourtada Fall doubled their lead.
Diego Mauricio scored late in the first half to make it 3–0 into the break. Bengaluru FC pulled a goal back, thanks to a header from Sunil Chhetri, but Diego Mauricio scored once more and put his side in the driving seat. The visitors pulled one more goal back with the help of Edgar Mendez, but it was a little too late as the hosts wrapped up a good victory.

Mohun Bagan continue to hold the first position on the Indian Super League (ISL) table while Bengaluru FC remain in the second position despite facing a heavy defeat. Odisha FC have jumped up to the third position following their thumping win at home while NorthEast United FC have slipped down to the fourth place. Punjab FC have come down to the fifth position, but have a game in hand and FC Goa are ranked sixth.
Mumbai City FC have been relegated to the seventh position while Chennaiyin FC have dropped down to the eighth position. Jamshedpur hold the ninth place. Kerala Blasters are now ranked tenth on the table. Hyderabad FC are still placed eleventh with seven points under their belt. The twelfth and thirteenth positions are held by Mohammedan SC and East Bengal respectively.
