UPSC released the result of Civil Services Preliminary Examination

UPSC CSE Prelims Result: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) declared the results of the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2025 on Wednesday. The preliminary examination was held on 25 May. UPSC has shared the list of number of successful candidates who qualified for the Civil Services (Main) Examination on its website. The statement released by the UPSC said that candidates can get any information/explanation about their results by visiting the facility center or by telephone between 10 am and 5 pm in all working days.

According to the official statement, UPSC has announced the results and shared the list of serial number of successful candidates who qualified for the Civil Services (Main) Examination on its website. The Commission conducts the Civil Services Examination annually in three stages (preliminary, main and interviews) to select officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS).

The statement said that the candidates are also informed that after the end of the entire process of Civil Services Examination, 2025 and Indian Forest Services Examination, 2025, that is, after the announcement of the final result, the marks of the preliminary examination, ‘cut-off’ marks and Answer Key Commission will be uploaded on the website of the Commission. UPSC has also announced the list of candidates who qualified for the Indian One Service (Main) Examination, 2025 on the basis of ‘screening test’ conducted through Civil Services Preliminary Examination.

The commission has a facility center near the Examination Hall Bhawan in its premises at Dholpur House on Shah Jahan Road in New Delhi. The statement released by the UPSC said that candidates can get any information/explanation about their results by visiting the facility center or by telephone between 10 am and 5 pm in all working days.

Successful candidates have been asked to fill some details through a dedicated ‘Window’ to be opened from 16 to 25 June on the Commission’s website. The UPSC said that except for the candidates exempted from the fee, successful candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 200 for admission to the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2025. (Language)
