Uttarkashi: There has been a big accident in Uttarkashi in Uttarakhand. A helicopter crashed near Gangnani at 9 am. 6 passengers have died in this accident. Pictures of the helicopter debris have also been revealed. This helicopter is being told of a private company and was going towards Gangotri. Local people and police are present on the spot.

What is the whole matter?

A major accident occurred in Uttarkashi district. Aero Trans private company’s helicopter crashed towards Gangotri Dham. The accident is reported to be near the Naga temple, near the Bhagirathi river beyond Ganganani. According to preliminary information, devotees were riding in the helicopter, who were on a visit to Gangotri Dham.

The administration and relief agencies have come into action as soon as the incident is reported. Police, army special contingents, disaster management QRT team, NDRF, SDRF, 108 ambulance service, Tehsildar Bhatwadi, BDO Bhatwadi and Revenue Department teams have been sent for the spot. At present, the cause of the accident is not known and relief and rescue operations are going on on the spot. More information is being awaited.

The statement of Uttarakhand CM Dhami has come out in this case. CM Dhami posted on X and said, ‘The helicopter crash near Gangnani of Uttarkashi has received a very sad news of some casualties. SDRF and district administration teams have immediately reached the spot for relief and rescue operations. May God give the souls of the people who died in the accident, place the place in the shrines and the mournful families to bear this immense sorrow. The administration has been instructed to provide all possible assistance to the injured and investigate the accident.
