West Indies veteran Brian Lara has said a lot amidst the speculation of retirement from Virat Kohli’s Test Cricket. Posting on Instagram, he said that Test cricket needs Virat and he will not retire. Lara even claimed that Virat would score runs at an average of more than 60 in the remaining matches of his Test career.
Brian Lara’s reaction has come to light amid reports of Virat Kohli retiring from Test cricket. Former West Indies captain Lara shared a post on Instagram and wrote, “Test cricket needs Virat! He will be celebrated. He is not going to retire from Test cricket. Kohli will score more than 60 in his remaining Test career.”
In fact, some media reports claimed that 36 -year -old Virat Kohli has told BCCI about his retirement. After this, Lara’s post came, which gave a new twist to these speculations.
Virat Kohli has played 123 Test matches for India so far and has scored 9230 runs. During this time he has also scored 30 centuries and 31 half -centuries. His record against Australia has been the most excellent, against which he has scored 2232 runs in 30 matches, including 9 centuries and 5 fifty.
