Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan
Lahore: Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is being kept in seclusion imprisonment at least 22 hours per day by ‘gross violation’ of prison rules and human rights. His party claimed this on Wednesday. 72 -year -old Khan, who came to politics from a cricketer, has been in jail since August 2023.
‘Ban on movement’
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former Union Minister Moonis Ilahi said in a statement, “PTI Chief Conservator and former Prime Minister Imran Khan is being kept in at least 22 hours of solitary imprisonment and his movement has been banned.”
‘Khan is not getting enough food’
Moonis said that Khan is not getting enough food and medical care. He said that there are also worrying reports of Khan’s weight loss significantly. Moonis demanded that Khan’s fundamental rights are being violated and should be resolved immediately.

‘Inhuman behavior is happening with Khan’
Another leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Zulfi Bukhari, said that Imran Khan is being kept in solitary imprisonment for 22-23 hours per day, which is “a severe violation of all jail rules and human rights.” Bukhari said that the former Prime Minister has lost weight and this level of inhuman behavior with him is unacceptable and illegal.

Zulfi Bukhari demanded justice, saying, “We should raise our voice and demand immediate action. Khan’s private doctors should be allowed to investigate without delay.”
Imran Khan’s sister made serious allegations

He said that the hearing on my brother Imran’s vine petition is being deliberately postponed. Imran Khan is also not getting the facilities received by the common prisoners in the jail.
