Vikram Gaikwad died on Saturday, he was Bollywood’s famous makeup artist by profession. He acted in many Bollywood films in his long career and was close to many film stars. Vikram Gaikwad was a National Award winning makeup artist. In cinema, she had taken a different level to makeup. His work had got a different identity and it was nothing short of a transformative work. Wikram was highly appreciated for this. Vikram received the best makeup artist award on seven occasions. He won the Bar National Award. She won the Best Makeup Artist Award for ‘Dirty Picture’ starring Vidya Balan in 2012. He also won the award for the Bengali film Jatishwar in 2014. He started his brilliant career with the film ‘Sardar’.

Brother told the reason for death
He died in a hospital in Mumbai on Saturday. Vikram’s younger brother Dr. Prasanna Paranjpe told PTI, ‘He was admitted to Hiranandani Hospital in Powai three days ago due to the problem of blood pressure. He died at around 8.30 am today. Their blood pressure was decreasing and we could not save them. He was perfectly fine when he was admitted. We did not expect that they would leave this world so soon. The last day he was cremated at Shivaji Park crematorium in Dadar.
