Prithvi Shaw, once considered the next superstar of Indian cricket, has broken the silence on the most difficult watch of his career. Between being out of IPL, dropping from the domestic team and mental conflict, Shaw told how he wandered from the way and who was in that era who took his well being. Now he is once again preparing to return to the field, expressing confidence in himself.

Indian cricket young batsman Prithvi Shaw has made a big disclosure about the most difficult phase of his career. In 2018, when he scored 134 runs in a Test debut, the then coach Ravi Shastri called him “Virender Sehwag, Brian Lara and Sachin Tendulkar”. But after this his graph continued to fall.

The matter reached here that no team came to buy them in the mega auction of IPL 2025. Nor was he called by any team as a replacement. In domestic cricket too, Vijay Hazare Trophy and then were dropped from the Ranji Trophy. Now he has shared his disorientation story in a conversation with News24.

Prithvi Shaw said, “I myself realized that I had got down from the track. Earlier I used to practice 8 hours a day, he remained for 4 hours. I made some wrong friends, and what was not necessary, started thinking of it necessary. I put my cricket back.” He also told that Dada’s death made him mentally weakened. Prithvi Shaw said, “My grandfather was very close to me. I broke down by his departure. I have made a lot of mistakes, but Papa always supported me.”

Prithvi Shaw also told that no player contacted him in that difficult time, except Rishabh Pant. Talking about this, he said, “Rishabh’s message came. He asks in between when he feels.”

Talking further, he said that he was not surprised to stay unusual in the IPL as he was mentally ready. Prithvi Shaw said while talking on this, “Now I have gone back to basic. As hard work used to work 5 years ago, I have started again.

Let us tell you that Prithvi Shaw has recently applied for a no-objection certificate (NOC) from Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) to play from another state. In such a situation, the Earth is once again in the lock of returning by correcting all the chizos.
