Lucknow. Finally, after 17 days of adopting all the foreign and advanced technologies and failing the opinion of foreign experts, on Tuesday evening, 41 laborers trapped inside the tunnel under construction in Silkyara, North Kashi, were taken out one by one. Those who were rescued were provided necessary medical facilities through ambulance. In this rescue operation, while on one hand technology like auger machine failed, on the other hand, they were successful in rescuing the trapped workers with the help of ‘Rat Hole Miner Workers Manual’ tools which were banned by NGT National Green Tribunal years ago.

These workers were specially called from Delhi and Jhansi. Let us tell you here that under this technique, after vertical drilling through the hill, the trapped workers were rescued one by one by cutting the layer of the tunnel. It should be noted that rat hole miners are generally known for doing illegal mining in closed mines. Under this technique, these workers are so skilled that by sensing the layers of the mountain, they are adept at digging tunnels rapidly in less space. Are considered. With the help of this technology, such workers have been used for decades to illegally extract minerals from closed coal, diamond and other mineral mines.

A few years ago, after more than a dozen workers got trapped and died during one such illegal mining, it was declared illegal and Rat Hole was completely banned. Now that the workers trapped in the tunnel of North Kashi are being taken out one by one, an atmosphere of joy has been established in the country and the state.
