New Delhi: In a spectacular display of power-hitting, Hamza Saleem Dar created history in T10 cricket by scoring a record-breaking 193 runs in just 43 balls during a match between Catalunya Jaguars and Sohal Hospital in European cricket. Although he missed the elusive double century in T10 cricket by just 7 runs, Hamza set a new world record for the highest individual score in a T10 innings.
Playing for Catalunya Jaguar, Hamza's explosive innings included 22 sixes and 14 fours, giving him an excellent strike rate of 449. The team scored a huge score of 257 runs in the stipulated 10 overs without losing any wicket.
This tremendous performance overtook the previous record of Lewis du Plooy, who had scored unbeaten 163 runs in 40 balls for Hungary on October 5 this year.
