The 5-seat Nissan midsize SUV, based on the CMF-B platform, will be launched in India next year along with the new Duster.
Renault and Nissan announced their product roadmap for the domestic market a few days ago as four new SUVs have been confirmed and two of which are hitting showrooms next year. Each brand will offer a mid-size SUV to rival the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyrider, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Honda Elevate, etc.
The five-seat duo will also spawn a 7-seater version to compete with the Hyundai Alcazar, Tata Safari, Citroen C3 Aircross seven-seater, MG Hector Plus, Mahindra Scorpio N and Mahindra XUV700, while the upcoming new-generation India -Many information has come to light about Spec Duster.
The 2025 Nissan midsize SUV will be based on the modular CMF-B architecture and will follow the latest design philosophy adopted by the brand in the international markets. In the teaser, it can be seen with inverted L-shaped LED daytime running lights.
Additionally, there are twin chrome lines in the grille section which houses the signature Nissan badge and below which can be seen the bumper with wide lower air intakes and possibly a silver skid plate. Muscle lines and creases are visible on the bonnet. Apart from this, metallic accent is visible in the C-shaped bumper housing. U-shaped alloy wheels can be seen in it, whose size can be 17 or 18-inch.
Let us tell you that in Europe, the third generation Duster is sold with 1.0 liter turbo petrol, 1.2 liter petrol with 48V mild hybrid system and 1.6 liter hybrid petrol engine that uses two electric motors. Powertrain details are yet to be announced for India and Nissan may offer both manual and automatic transmission options.
The feature list is likely to include a floating touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, fully digital instrument console, flat-bottom steering wheel with mounted controls, Type-C charging port, wireless charger, automatic climate control, sunroof 6 Features like airbags and ADAS will be included.
