Bengaluru rave party: All participants hail from Andhra and Pondicherry, confirms Crime Branch | Crime News

The Central Crime Branch arrested 5 people from a rave party in Bengaluru. Investigations revealed that none of the people partying at the venue were from Bengaluru or for that matter even from Karnataka. All of them belonged either to Andhra Pradesh or Pondicherry, said investigators.

CCB said that at least 101 people were at the rave party in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: The Central Crime Branch (CCB) is conducting a thorough probe in the rave party in Bengaluru. They have been questioning all those who were at the party which happened at the GM Farm House. The party goers are being questioned separately, by the investigators.

Party goers from outside Karnataka, were from Andhra and Pondicherry: CCB

The CCB said that they have so far interrogated 101 individuals, all of whom were at the party in the wee hours of Sunday. The investigators however said that not a single of these 101 people were from Bengaluru. Police investigations in fact revealed that all of these individuals were from outside Karnataka.

In a major revelation, the investigators said that the party goers hailed from Andhra Pradesh and Pondicherry. One of the accused Vasu, who allegedly arranged the party is from Hyderabad, in Andhra Pradesh by birth. Only the owner of the farmhouse, businessman Gopal Reddy hails from Bengaluru. He owns a real estate and construction company here.

The Crime Branch further said that of the 101 people at the party, there are 71 young men and 30 women. It was revealed that Telugu actress Hema along with some other television actors and models was present at the party. The CCB has now transferred the case to the Hebbagodi police, who are now carrying out further investigations in the case. Investigations in the case are being led by Bengaluru Rural SP Mallikarjuna Baladandi.

CCB arrests 5 people

As of now the CCB has arrested 5 people in the case. They have been identified as Vasu, Arun, Siddique, Run Dhir and Raj Bhava. All of them are currently in the custody of Electronic City Police.

Reports said that 2 of the accused Vasu and Arun are related to each other, though there was no clarity on what exactly was their relationship. This event according to police was held to celebrate Vasu’s birthday. Arun had full charge of the program, they added. While Siddique, Randhir, Rajbhav and drug peddlers.

The others involved were sent home by the CCB. They have been asked to appear before investigators whenever called for questioning. Their phone numbers and addresses have been recorded. The medical test of all party participants was also conducted. As and when their report comes, they may be called for questioning.
