New Delhi: India spinner Kuldeep Yadav took to Instagram to share some snapshots of him relaxing in the picturesque city of Dharamsala as he gears up for the much-awaited fifth and final Test against England set to be played at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium from March 7. The left-arm chinaman delivered a memorable performance in the fourth Test played in Ranchi, both with bat and ball.

Although he is known for the lethal turn that he produces to trouble the batters, he batted valiantly in the Ranchi Test while coming out as the nighthawk and continuing to bat like a professional the next morning. This performance by him has boosted fans’ and even his teammates’ expectations for the upcoming Dharamsala Test.

As there’s almost a 10-day gap before the fifth Test begins, players from both sides are getting some valuable time off the field. While a few Indian players are yet to reach Dharamsala, being involved with personal commitments, Kuldeep is one of those who has already made it to the Himachal Pradesh city. He shared pictures on his Instagram enjoying tea time enveloped in the city’s hills. One of the pictures also had the Indian team’s strength and conditioning coach, Soham Desai.

4-1 or 3-2 post fifth Test?

India are looking at a 4-1 series win, a series which they already sealed after the Ranchi encounter, and will be playing a rubber against the Three Lions. The case would be different for Ben Stokes & co. who will aim for their second win to make a respectful exit.

England had won the opening Test held in Hyderabad but went on to lose three on the trot as Team India asserted sheer dominance on the visitors, denying them victory in fashion. Batters like Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sarfaraz Khan, Rohit Sharma, and Shubman Gill made impactful contributions while the bowling department didn’t lack any effort to contribute either as Kuldeep Yadav, R Ashwin, and Jasprit Bumrah rescued the team whenever the English batters tried capitalising.
