BY A STAFF REPORTER: AAP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal on Friday responded to the viral video clip from the alleged assault site and claimed that political hitman (Bibhav Kumar) is trying to save himself.
Taking it to her X handle, Swati Maliwal posted “Like every other time, the political hitman is endeavoring to save himself. By making his supporters tweet and share videos out of context, he feels that he can escape punishment after committing such a crime. Who would record the assault? The truth will be exposed after the CCTV footage examination. Fall to whatever level you can, God is watching everything. One day, truth will be unleashed in front of the world.”

The short clip was shot in the living room of Arvind Kejriwal’s residence. In the video, Swati Maliwal was reportedly seen warning CM Arvind Kejriwal’s staff against calling the cops. Moreover, Delhi Police has taken cognizance of the video. However, they are yet to verify the authenticity of the clip.
Rajya Sabha MP and former Chairperson of Delhi Commission for Women Swati Maliwal was brutally assaulted by Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s PA Bibhav Kumar in his residence on May 13. The Delhi Police registered a case against Kumar in connection with the assault on Maliwal. The Delhi Police also recorded Swati Maliwal’s statement under section 164 of CrPC today.
