Farmers who gave land for Delhi-Mumbai Expressway did not get compensation

Greater Noida News: The farmers whose land was taken to connect the Noida International Airport being built in Jewar, Greater Noida to the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, have not yet received compensation. Regarding this complaint, the affected farmers met Jewar MLA of Greater Noida, Dhirendra Singh. The MLA asked the officials present to solve the problems of the farmers.

Difficulties arising due to legal hassles

Let us tell you that Delhi-Mumbai Expressway is being connected to Noida International Airport being built in Jewar, Greater Noida. So that people of Delhi, Haryana and Rajasthan can easily reach Noida International Airport. For this, the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has taken land from farmers for the construction of the expressway, but due to some legal hurdles, the farmers who gave the land are facing problems. Regarding this problem, a delegation of farmers met Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh in the Jan Chaupal organized in village Mahamadpur Jadaun and told him that they have given consent to give the land to NHAI. But they have not received compensation yet. The MLA held talks with District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma and Additional District Magistrate Bachchu Singh present at Jan Chaupal with the farmers and talked about quick resolution of their problems.
