Today, for the first time, the birth anniversary of Saint Shiromani Sain Ji Maharaj was celebrated under the Sant Mahapurush Samman and Thought Propagation Scheme, which is being run in Haryana to spread the teachings of saints and great men to the common people.

In the state level function organized in district Jind, the Chief Minister gave many gifts to the Sain community. Earlier, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 39 projects worth about Rs 590 crore.

While making the announcement, the Chief Minister said that December 4 will be written in the calendar of Haryana Government as a special day to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sant Shiromani Sain Ji Maharaj. While announcing, he said that for efficiency and training in traditional works of Sain community, 4 hair skill development centers will be opened in Gurugram, Hisar, Rohtak and Ambala. After the success of these centres, more centers will be opened as per requirement.

Announcing on the demand of the society, Shri Manohar Lal said that till now the name of the Sain community is written along with the word 'Nai'. But Haryana Government has written a letter in this regard to the Central Government to give it a separate identity from the name SAIN.

The square in front of the court located at JD-7 Road, Gohana Road will be named after Sant Shiromani Sain Ji Maharaj.

The Chief Minister also announced that JD-7 Road in Jind and the square in front of the court on Gohana Road will be named after Sant Shiromani Sain Ji Maharaj. He said that the statue of Saint Shiromani Sain Ji Maharaj will also be installed at the square. He said that in Bhiwani and Karnal too, if the society identifies any road or square and informs the government, then it will also be named after Saint Shiromani Sain Ji Maharaj.

The Chief Minister announced to name a building in the Shri Dhanna Bhagat Medical College campus, Jind, after Sant Shiromani Sain Ji Maharaj.

He said that in Jind district, the society will have to apply for a plot on the portal of Haryana Urban Development Authority, then they will be allotted a plot and for the construction of Dharamshala on this plot, Rs 11 lakh will be provided by the MP and Rs 21 lakh from its own voluntary fund. Our government is continuously committed to the welfare of every section of the society including the poor, labourers, farmers and the needy. He said that compared to the previous governments in Haryana, during the tenure of the present government, twice the amount of development work is being done and it is being done at less expenditure.
