Moradabad, 24 November (HS). Gangster action was taken on Friday against 12 accused, including former block chief and BJP leader Anuj Chaudhary’s murder mastermind Prabhakar Chaudhary, husband of the block chief of Asmoli block, former block chief Lalit Kaushik. Except one accused, Satendra Singh, resident of Afzalgarh, Bijnor, all the accused are lodged in different districts.
Former block chief candidate and BJP leader Anuj Chaudhary, resident of village Aliya Nekpur of Aichora Kamboh police station area of Sambhal district, lived in Parshvanath Pratibha Society, New Moradabad, Majhola. On the evening of 10th August, Anuj was roaming in the society premises with his friend. Meanwhile, three shooters riding a bike opened fire and killed BJP leader Anuj Chaudhary. His friend was also fired upon.
In this case, the police had uncovered the murder case by arresting Aniket, the son of the Asmoli block chief. In this case, 9 accused were arrested and sent to jail, while former block chief Lalit Kaushik and Mohit Chaudhary are already in jail. One accused is still absconding. In this case, action has been taken against the accused under the Gangster Act. Prabhakar Singh, husband of Amsoli block chief Santosh Devi, resident of Hajibeda, Sambhal, her son Aniket, shooter Suryakant Sharma alias Shanu, resident of Brahmpuri Jayantipur of Majhola, Akash alias Gatua, resident of Bhadora, Katghar, Sushil Sharma alias Golu, resident of Avantika Colony, Azad Nagar, Gajraula, Amroha. Has been made an accused.
Apart from this, KGK College Clerk Amit Kumar, resident of village Bhawalpur of Aichora Kamboh police station area of Sambhal, his elder brother Mohit Chaudhary, Pushpendra, Neeraj Pal, resident of Railway Harthala Colony, Lalit Kaushik, resident of Deendayal Nagar of Civil Lines, Kamalveer Singh, resident of Prakash Enclave of Civil Lines. And Satendra Singh, resident of Afzalgarh, Bijnor, has been made accused. The leader of this gang is Prabhakar Singh. While the other accused are gang members.
Senior Superintendent of Police Hemraj Meena said that 11 accused including the gang leader are in jail while Satendra Singh is absconding. Which is being searched.
