Good news for Haryana Police and Home Guards, government formed committee for compensation policy.

Chandigarh, December 4- Chief Secretary, Haryana, Shri Sanjeev Kaushal has provided recommendations for amendment and modification of the present policy implemented specifically for Home Guards and Police officers who have sustained injuries and sacrificed their lives in cases of violence and communal violence. A four-member committee has been formed for this.

Mr Kaushal was presiding over the meeting regarding the amendment of compensation to policemen, home guards and civilians who lost their lives during the violence and communal violence.

The committee members present in the meeting included Commissioner and Secretary, Personnel Department, Shri Pankaj Aggarwal, Special Secretary, Home-I Department, Shri Mahavir Kaushik; The committee comprising IG Administration Mr. Sanjay Kumar and AIG Welfare Mr. Rajeev Deswal has been asked to give its recommendations within two weeks.

ADGP CID Mr. Alok Mittal, ADGP Law and Order, Mamta Singh and Special Secretary Home, Mr. Mahavir Kaushik and Special Secretary, Dr. Aditya Dahiya were present in the meeting.
