Kota News Desk, The incidents of theft are not showing any signs of decreasing in the city. Fearless criminals are easily stealing and running away. The latest case has come to light in Kunhadi police station area. Unidentified miscreants stole a bike from a house in Girdhar Enclave Kailash Puri area located on Balita Road and fled away. The theft incident has been captured in the CCTV camera installed in the neighbour’s house. The victim has lodged a complaint of theft in the police station.

Victim Ajay Gurjar told that he has two bikes. Both the bikes remain parked in the verandah of the house. At around 2.30 in the night, unknown miscreants jumped inside the main gate. Then broke the lock of the gate. Ran away with the Pulsar bike parked in the verandah. When I woke up in the morning, I found the gate lock broken. A bike was missing. Checked the recordings of CCTV cameras installed in the neighbourhood. In the footage, two miscreants were seen roaming around the house. At around 2:15 in the night, miscreants entered the house and stole the bike. The miscreants were so clever that they did not even start the bike. Went on foot and by bike. The bike was of 2015 model. When I complained to the police, they asked to file an FIR on the 1st.

Ticket checking campaign: Rs 11 lakh recovered in one day

A special intensive ticket checking campaign was conducted by Railways in Kota division. During the campaign, revenue of Rs 11 lakh was collected from 1623 cases in a single day. On November 26, under the direction of Divisional Railway Manager Manish Tiwari and Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Rohit Malviya, the Checking Squad Special Team checked tickets on various trains and stations and caught 1623 cases in a single day from which Rs 11 lakh 1565 were recovered. In this, 663 cases were caught traveling without tickets, 958 traveling with improper tickets, 2 cases of transporting luggage without booking.
