An IDF spokesperson said that Ismail was involved in planning rocket and anti-tank missile attacks on Israel from Lebanon. During the Israel-Hamas war, he had planned several terrorist attacks against Israel.
Missile unit commander also killed
The Israeli army has also killed Mohammed Mustafa, commander of Hezbollah's rocket and missile unit. In a separate statement, the IDF said Hezbollah commander Mohammad Hussein Mustafa Shechori was also killed in an airstrike in the Kfar Dunin area. It was responsible for missile attacks on Israel from the central area. Another terrorist from Hezbollah's rocket and missile unit, Ibrahim Fadel-Allah, was also killed during the attack.
Hezbollah silent on the death of commanders
