Pratapgarh , Under the Lok Sabha General Election-2024, the election process was completed in a very peaceful manner today in Babaganj and Kunda assembly constituencies of 50-Kaushambi (Partial) Parliamentary Constituency. According to the data received at the end of voting, a total of 49.49 percent voting took place in the 02 assemblies of the district, in which the highest percentage of voting was in Kunda assembly constituency where voting was 50.71 percent and in Babaganj assembly constituency it was 48.28 percent.

According to the information received regarding the Lok Sabha General Election-2024, the voting was conducted completely peacefully and there is no news of any disruption in the voting from anywhere. District Magistrate/District Election Officer Sanjeev Ranjan, Superintendent of Police Satpal Antil, Chief Development Officer Navneet Sehara, Deputy District Election Officer Tribhuvan Vishwakarma, Chief Revenue Officer Rakesh Kumar Gupta and Sector and Zonal Magistrates kept on touring continuously and took stock of the peaceful voting.

District Magistrate Sanjeev Ranjan and Superintendent of Police Satpal Antil jointly polled polling station Saryu Prasad Intermediate College Kunda, Primary School Poorviyan Kunda, Primary School Benti Kunda, Pre Secondary School Beti Kunda, Primary School Banemau Kunda, Primary School Kunda, Trilochan Prasad Intermediate College. Kunda, Primary School entire Uttar Kunda, Upper Primary School Shahpur Kunda, Means Cooperative Society Barai, TP Inter College Kunda, Nagar Panchayat Kunda, PM Shri Composite School Tajpur, Pre Secondary School Bahorikpur etc. took stock of the voting and took stock of the voting. Necessary instructions were also given to the officers and security forces. During inspection of the polling station Primary School Kunda, it was found that Shiksha Mitra Pramod Kumar (Gram Sabha Thilauri) was entrusted with the responsibility of distributing voter slips.

But the District Magistrate expressed strong displeasure over them not taking the election work seriously and not distributing the voter slips on time and immediately directed the District Basic Education Officer to file an FIR against Shiksha Mitra Pramod Kumar and take suspension action.
