Mahindra Scorpio Z8: Leading car manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra has introduced a new variant in the Scorpio N lineup with the Z8 Select variant. This makes the Z8 range more affordable. Ex-showroom prices for the Z8 range start at Rs 16.9 lakh. Z8 Select is offered with both petrol and diesel engine options. Bookings for the SUV have started and it will be available on sale from March 1, 2024.
The Scorpio N Z8 Select variant gets coffee-black leatherette interiors and many other features. It has R17 diamond cut alloy wheels. It features LED headlamps, LED projector fog lamps and LED daytime running lamps with LED DRLs, LED projector fog lamps and LED sequential turn indicators on ORVMs, 8-inch infotainment screen and 17.78 cm color TFT cluster, internal Alexa, sunroof and wireless Android Auto and Features like Apple CarPlay have been provided.
Scorpio-N Z8 Select has been introduced with two engine options. A 2.0-litre, turbo-petrol engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission that produces 203hp power and 370Nm torque. This engine generates an additional 10Nm of torque when paired with a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The second is a 2.2-litre, mHawk turbo diesel engine which generates 175hp power and 370 Nm torque. It generates 400Nm torque with 6-speed torque converter.
The petrol manual of the Scorpio N Z8 Select variant is priced at Rs 16.9 lakh, while the automatic is priced at Rs 18.4 lakh. Furthermore, the diesel Z8 Select range is priced at Rs 17.9 lakh for the diesel MT and Rs 18.9 lakh for the diesel automatic.
