Bhopal, 04 December (HS). The final results for the Assembly elections 2023 in Madhya Pradesh have been declared after the counting of votes on Sunday. The results were released late at night. This time a total of 27 women have reached the assembly after winning the elections in the state. Of these, 20 BJP and seven women won the elections on Congress tickets. With the declaration of results, the election code of conduct implemented in Madhya Pradesh from October 9 has also ended. The Election Commission of India has issued orders in this regard late Monday evening. This information was given by the state's Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan.

He said that the order states that since the results have been declared after the completion of nomination, voting and counting of votes in the state. In such a situation, the code of conduct is abolished with immediate effect. Actually, the Election Commission had implemented the code of conduct till December 05, but a day before, orders were issued to end the code of conduct.

Chief Electoral Officer Rajan said that in the counting of votes for all 230 assembly constituencies of the state, 163 candidates of Bharatiya Janata Party, 66 candidates of Indian National Congress and one candidate of Bharat Adivasi Party have been declared victorious. These also include 27 women who have been elected MLAs. He said that this time BJP has got 48.55 percent votes, while Congress's vote percentage was 40.40. Apart from this, BSP has got 3.40 percent votes and the vote percentage of independent candidates has been 3.36. Apart from this, the vote percentage of other parties was recorded less than one percent.

He told that this time 20 candidates have won by more than 50 thousand votes. The biggest victory in the state has been registered by BJP candidate Ramesh Mendola from Indore-2 seat. He defeated Congress candidate Chintu Choukse by one lakh seven thousand 47 votes. BJP candidate Krishna Gaur came second from Govindpura seat of Bhopal. He defeated Congress candidate Ravindra Sahu by one lakh six thousand 668 votes. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan was at third place. He defeated his nearest rival Congress candidate Vikram Mastal Sharma from Budni seat by 1 lakh 4 thousand 974 votes. At the same time, there are 12 candidates in the state who were defeated by less than one thousand votes. Among these, BJP candidate with least votes is Arun Bhimavad. He was defeated by Congress candidate Hukum Singh Karada from Shajapur seat by just 28 votes.

Rajan said that this time the 27 women MLAs who have been elected in the state include Sarla Rawat-BJP, Priyanka Penchi-BJP, Nirmala Sapre-Congress, Chanda Surendra Singh Gaur-Congress, Lalita Yadav-BJP, Ramshiya Bharti-Congress, Uma Devi Khatik-BJP, Pratima Bagri-BJP, Reeti Pathak-BJP, Radha Ravindra Singh-BJP, Manisha Singh-BJP, Meena Singh-BJP, Samputiya Uike-BJP, Anubha Munjare-Congress, Ganga Sajjan Singh Uike-BJP, Krishna Gaur. -BJP, Gayatri Raje Panwar-BJP, Kanchan Mukesh Tanve-BJP, Chhaya More-BJP, Manju Rajendra Dadu-BJP, Archana Chitnis-BJP, Jhuma Solanki-Congress, Sena Mahesh Patel- Congress, Nirmala Bhuria-BJP, Neena Vikram Verma. -BJP, Malini Gaur-BJP and Usha Thakur-BJP.
