New Delhi: Images of both shooters who fired outside Salman Khan’s residence have surfaced. One assailant is clad in a black and white t-shirt, while the other sports a red t-shirt. Following the release of these images, the search for both individuals has escalated significantly. Security agencies are now closely scrutinising both shooters.
According to the agencies, the shooters hail from Rajasthan and Haryana. Reports suggest that these assailants are employed by Rohit Godara, with Anmol Vishnoi assigning them the task. Allegedly, Rohit, currently residing abroad, coordinated the arrangement of the shooters.
Known for his affiliation with the Lawrence gang in Rajasthan, Rohit has not only been an active member but has also orchestrated significant acts of violence. He is believed to have masterminded incidents involving the killing of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi and Raju Theth.
Firing outside Salman Khan’s residence
Earlier in the day, two people riding a motorcycle opened fire outside the residence of Bollywood actor Salman Khan in the Bandra area of Mumbai at 5 am on Sunday. According to reports, three rounds were fired outside the Galaxy Apartments. The Mumbai Police’s Crime Branch has initiated an investigation into the matter.
In response to the incident, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde had a telephone conversation with the actor and also conferred with the Mumbai Police Commissioner to discuss enhancing Salman Khan’s security measures. Efforts are underway to analyse CCTV footage to ascertain the identities of the perpetrators. Additionally, security around the actor’s residence has been bolstered.
Mumbai police register FIR
The Mumbai police registered an FIR against two unidentified people under section 307 (Attempt to murder) of the IPC and Arms Act by Bandra Police. The case was been registered on the basis of the statement of Salman Khan’s security guard. There were reports that Salman Khan’s family were contemplating moving out of their Bandra house, however sources disclosed that they will continue staying there.
